Scott Sanfilippo, Co-Founder, Solid Cactus
Considered one of the pioneers of eCommerce, Scott Sanfilippo started his first online store with Joe Palko in 1994, TheFerretStore.com. Scott’s knowledge and experience in eCommerce and branding has gained him national recognition and exposure in such publications as Inc. Magazine, Entrepreneur, USA Today, Internet Retailer, Wall Street Journal and more. Scott is the recipient of several awards including “Top 40 Under Forty” (2008 Times Leader), “Person of the Year” nominee (2007 Wilkes-Barre Citizens Voice), “Top 20 Under 40″ (2006 NEPA Business Journal), “Young Millionaire” (2005 Entrepreneur Magazine) and most recently the “Entrepreneurial Achievement Award (2009) from Ben Franklin Technology Partners. Scott has managed 39 eCommerce stores and has successfully led Solid Cactus until its acquisition by Web.com in April 2009. Today, Scott is Sr. Marketing Consultant for Web.com eCommerce where his experience and guidance is used to extensively promote Solid Cactus and other eCommerce initiatives within the organization. After designing websites on a free-lance level, Miguel Younger applied his experience with client relations to his introductory role as Traffic Manager for Solid Cactus. Utilizing his knowledge of web design and communication, Miguel advanced to his current role, Vice President of Operations.
